We take pride in our products and want to be certain you are pleased with your purchases. Should you be dissatisfied with an item in your order, just return it for replacement or refund within 30 days of receipt. In order to keep our prices as low as possible, we maintain only small inventories of our highest volume items. All other styles are made to order, and quality production takes 3-4 weeks from the time we receive an order in our office.We deposit checks and process charges at the time we cut - not when the order is shipped. If you find that we have processed your payment, it means that we are working on your order. You will be notified by mail or phone should we anticipate any circumstance which will delay your shipment beyond 30 days.
We understand that families of children with special needs are burdened with many expenses, and we are dedicated to making SPECIAL CLOTHES as affordable as possible. Overhead expenses are kept to a minimum. We do not, however, compromise on materials or workmanship. Catalogue prices fairly reflect the quality of materials used, and the labor intensive nature of our manufacturing process - necessary because of options we offer to meet the unique needs of each child. Our quantity discounts on many items enable you to cut costs while building your child's wardrobe.
If your needs require customization of our clothing, we are happy to accomodate. Call or write for further information and a price quote. Please note that custom orders cannot be returned.
Fill in the name and birthdate of the child for whom you are ordering, and on his or her special day, we will send our birthday greetings and a SPECIAL CLOTHES certificate for a 15% discount on your next order.
We offer 30 day payment terms on orders placed by institutions, organizations, and social service agencies. Please call for authorization prior to placing an order using payment terms.
Do you know of others who would like to be included on our mailing list? We have SPECIAL CLOTHES sign-up flyers available, and we will be happy to send any quantity on request without charge.
We would be pleased to provide a selection of SPECIAL CLOTHES samples for display at parent meetings, conferences, etc. Samples are available without cost if returned to us within 15 days of the event. Please call at least 30 days in advance of your event to reserve samples.
We tried an 800 number, but found that fewer than 10% of our customers ordered by phone. Because additional overhead expenses ultimately add to the cost of the clothing, we felt it unfair to expect all our customers to pay more for their clothing to subsidize a service used by so few. We hope you agree that our decision to hold down the cost of our products is in the best interest of all our customers.
